The role of the *Internal Technical Sales Representative for Analytical Products* is to provide top-tier support to our customers, both technically and commercially. Each *Internal Technical Sales Representative* is assigned a specific customer base to get to know them well. You must be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of the subject matter and have persuasive skills. Our internal sales representatives are considered important technical resources to our customers.
The candidate will report directly to the Branch Manager and will work closely with our external representatives. The *Internal Technical Sales Representative* will follow procedures and work instructions and will represent Everest by providing reliable and quality service to our customers.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Establish customer needs
- Prepare quotations for analytical products;
- Follow up on quotations delegated by external representatives;
- Provide technical-commercial support to customers;
- Stay up-to-date on products and services offered by Everest Automation
Qualifications
- DEC in Engineering (Chemical, Instrumentation, Electrical, or Physics) or a relevant engineering degree or related diploma with relevant experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role;
- *(An asset)* Experience in sales of analytical instruments such as:
- + Gas detector
- + Gas analyzer (infrared, process photometer, etc.)
- + Chromatograph
- + Sampling system
+ Humidity transmitter, refractometer, etc… + *(An asset)* Knowledge of hazardous location classification
- Experience and desire to serve the customer.
- Good user of the Office suite.
- Results-oriented and able to manage variable workloads;
- Communication skills (oral, written, and interpersonal);
- Excellent organizational and teamwork skills
