Job Objective

Under the authority of the general management and in close collaboration with department directors, the Communication and Marketing Advisor is responsible for developing and implementing a communication strategy for all services offered by the Cooperative. As the main internal resource for communication and marketing, they guide directors and teams in choosing actions to take and plan and organize resources in their sector to achieve set goals.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a communication and marketing strategy for all services;
• Ensure the execution and effectiveness of the digital marketing strategy (SEO, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Display, and Remarketing);
• Supervise a team of two people (communication agents - social media);
• Analyze watch reports and statistical reports and make recommendations;
• Supervise and contribute to the management of the Cooperative's communities (blogs, social media) and its services;
• Ensure the consistency and shine of the Cooperative's brand image and its services through all communications and promotional tools;
• Coordinate the redesign of the Quebec métiers d’avenir website and manage all websites of the Cooperative;
• Plan, coordinate, and design communication materials and tools (e.g., brochures, posters, videos, visual presentations, content and article writing);
• Actively participate in awareness and public mobilization activities within the framework of projects and/or services;
• Support the general management in media relations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, or an appropriate field of specialization;
• 3 years of experience in similar roles;
• Knowledge of LinkedIn tools;
• Excellent French language skills, both oral and written;
• Knowledge of Meta tools (Advertising Manager, Business Manager);
• Knowledge of website natural search engine optimization (SEO) and digital marketing (Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Display, Remarketing);
• Knowledge of Wordpress;
• Knowledge of html language (a significant asset);
• Video editing skills (an asset);
• Experience in supervising staff and contractors (an asset);
• Knowledge of Adobe tools, such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator (an asset);
• Knowledge of Office 365 tools, such as Teams, OneDrive, or SharePoint (an asset);
• Job is for people legally authorized to work in Canada.
