VIE - Junior Project Manager Finance Transformation - Montreal - H/F

What does it look like on a daily basis?

You will join the Finance Transformation Office Americas, a cross-functional team working on a wide portfolio of projects covering the entire Americas region (United States, Canada, and Latin America). The team leads regulatory, strategic, and business transformation projects in Finance, while driving a Digital & Continuous Improvement program aimed at improving operational efficiency and reducing risks through automation and process optimization.

As a VIE, you will work alongside experienced project managers on digital projects, reporting optimization projects, and organizational transformation initiatives within the Finance and Tax functions in America.

In this role, you will:

Gather and formalize project objectives, needs, and expectations from various stakeholders.

Build and track project plans by applying best practices in project management, including Agile methodologies.

Identify risks, propose mitigation plans, and ensure their implementation.

Coordinate exchanges with Finance, IT, Risk, Front Office teams, and various sponsors to ensure project progress.

Contribute to the development of digital and continuous improvement projects such as dashboards, Power Query or Alteryx automations, and other innovative solutions.

You will operate in an international, cross-functional environment, interacting with teams based in North America, Paris, Madrid, or Bombay. This mission will also give you the opportunity to engage with the bank's senior management on high-visibility projects.

You will discover the entire project lifecycle, from need identification to deployment, while expanding your knowledge of Finance business and transformation activities within BNP Paribas Group.

You will also enhance your skills in stakeholder management, continuous improvement, process automation, and digital transformation. This cross-functional exposure can serve as a springboard for project management, transformation, finance, or change management roles within BNP Paribas' various entities. Depending on opportunities and the quality of collaboration, this experience may also open doors to new opportunities within the Group.

And the compensation?

Set by ministerial decree, it is paid monthly and consists of two elements: A common allowance, identical for all young people on mission.

A geographical allowance, variable according to the destination country (and sometimes the city). This allowance is recalculated every quarter.

You are a graduate of a Bac+5 degree from a business school, engineering school, or university program with a specialization in finance, project management, organizational transformation, information systems, or a related field.

You have a strong interest in Finance function transformation, project management, and continuous improvement topics. Previous experience in project management, process analysis, finance, or transformation is required.

Your English level is advanced to effectively operate in an international environment.

Knowledge of data visualization, automation, or continuous improvement tools (Power Query, Alteryx, dashboards, etc.) will be highly appreciated.

You demonstrate strong collaboration, organization, and analysis skills. Recognized for your clear and effective communication, you also show adaptability and agility in conducting your missions.

Duration and availability
