Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with product selection, and maintaining an organized sales floor. Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
• Operate POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Maintain product displays and ensure merchandise is well-organized and attractive
• Provide expert advice on gardening, landscaping, and horticulture products
• Support inventory management through stock replenishment and merchandising efforts
• Assist customers with e-commerce inquiries and online orders when applicable
• Handle customer questions regarding product features, pricing, and availability
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales area to ensure a welcoming environment
• Support landscape maintenance activities as needed to enhance store exterior appearance
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
• Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and merchandising techniques
• Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus
• Passion for gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is desirable
• Organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking and display setup
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
• Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with diverse customers effectively
• Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms is advantageous
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends if required
