Serving the plumbers

• Daily mayhem in the morning
• Answer calls from plumbers
• Serve plumbers all day
• Receiving orders from suppliers
• Matching the packing slip with POs
• Verifying that items and quantities match
• Take action on error on receiving or pricing errors
• Return items to suppliers
• Preparing orders
• Prepare and/or delegate material list preparation
• Prepare and/or delegate last minute orders (emergencies)
• Make sure material is or will be delivered on time
• Advise plumbers and other departments of backorders that may affect them
• Ensure that prepared orders are well stored and organized
• Monitor shared email and ensure requests are processed as quickly as possible
• Inventory levels / Orders
• Ensure that the inventory of products to be ordered is made every day
• Ensure that the warehouse inventory level meets needs and expectations
• Place material orders with appropriate suppliers
• Ensure that purchases are made at the best rate
• Tool organization / maintenance
• Ensure that the tool room remains clean and organized
• Send tools for repair or maintenance when necessary
• See to the regular maintenance of tools
• Trucks
• Stock new trucks
• Clean and empty old trucks
• Inventory switchover according to the seasons
• Warehouse efficiency
• Ensure that tasks are completed within the requested deadlines
• Keep the warehouse team busy
• Discuss problems encountered with management
• Ensure that the work is done in accordance with LB standards
• Salary: $56,000 per year
