The Maintenance Engineering - Signaling and Communication team at Pulsar is responsible for the continuous improvement of the reliability and performance of the REM's technological systems. The intern in maintenance engineering will assist the team in analyzing alarms generated by the supervision systems, identifying the causes of failures, proposing sustainable corrective solutions, and contributing to the continuous improvement of equipment availability.

  • Analyze alarms from supervision systems (cameras, passenger information screens, emergency telephony, and fiber optic intrusion detection system).
  • Identify the causes of recurring defects and formulate technical hypotheses.
  • Participate in the research and implementation of sustainable corrective solutions.
  • Perform tests and functionality checks on various systems, including the emergency telephony system.
  • Monitor corrective actions to validate their effectiveness.
  • Detect recurring failures and contribute to the continuous improvement of systems.
  • Participate in the creation of dashboards, tracking tools, and technical documentation.
  • Contribute to the deployment of solutions that can be applied across the entire network.

Profile

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, automated production engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in maintenance, technological systems, and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
  • Proficiency in French is essential, English is an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both on-site and in an office environment.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn.

Contract Information

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
