What will you contribute to the team?
The Analyst (Project Manager) is responsible for leading and implementing strategic initiatives within Bombardier's aerospace supply chain. This role aims to ensure the successful delivery of projects related to procurement, logistics, supplier performance, stock optimization, and production support. The position requires strong interfunctional coordination to align with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and external partner teams.
In your role, you will:
- Lead end-to-end supply chain projects, from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate interfunctional teams (Procurement, Logistics, Production, Quality, and Engineering) to ensure project execution and delivery.
- Drive initiatives to improve supplier performance, including risk mitigation, capacity planning, and delivery reliability.
- Track project performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as costs, timelines, quality, and stock levels, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Identify and manage risks related to supply chain disruptions, including the development and implementation of mitigation and contingency plans.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other recognized methodologies.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
How will you thrive in this role?
- You have a minimum of five (5) years of high-level professional experience in a project management role; eight (8) years or more are preferred.
- You hold a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field.
- You demonstrate strong research and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to rigor.
- You possess excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- You are capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously in a complex and fast-paced environment.
- You exhibit strong leadership and excellent stakeholder management skills.
- You have knowledge of the aerospace industry (asset) or, alternatively, experience in a complex manufacturing environment (preferred).
- You are able to work daily in both French and English.
- You can work on-site at one of our Montreal-area facilities at least two (2) days a week, and possibly more, in accordance with the applicable policy.
