Description
The work of maintenance, evolution, and development of the support systems attached to this profile consists of the activities and deliverables described below. Non-exhaustively, the following activities and deliverables may be carried out during the project: Activities:
- Follows the path and practices defined by the methodology in force at the Agency, notably the Green Guide from the Macroscope MD.
- Actively participates in agile methodology activities: preparation and participation in reviews, retrospectives, daily stand-ups, and iteration planning.
- Proposes, elaborates, and designs organic solutions within the framework of various projects, and informs organic architecture advisors of potential impacts on ongoing operations.
- Acts as an expert advisor to DGSA and VPTI stakeholders, offering specialized and strategic support.
- Designs organic solutions compliant with the development standards in force at the Agency.
- Provides optimal work ergonomics for developers, including the preparation of technical workshops, the implementation of adapted tools, and the continuous improvement of the development environment.
- Disseminates best development practices, maintains, and updates a site of interest for developers.
- Analyzes, investigates, and resolves complex problems, incidents, and alerts affecting the organic or technical environment.
- Provides proactive organic and technical support.
- Occasionally performs quality assurance activities on the code.
- Conducts proof of concepts to validate or demonstrate the feasibility of complex organic solutions.
- Approves requests related to security, magnetic space, and other aspects essential to the compliance of environments.
- Conducts technological vigilance, support, monitoring, and training related to various technologies (Microsoft .NET, TFS, BizTalk, Oracle, development standards, etc.).
- Acts as a specialist in development tools, organic standards, security models, and development standards used at the Agency.
- Suggests the acquisition of technological products and actively participates in their evaluation.
- Performs any other activity required within the framework of the project.
- Deliverables:
- Deliverables related to the appropriate path, mostly based on the methodology in force at the Agency (Green Guide from the Macroscope MD methodology).
- Implementation plan.
- Documents related to the activities of other Agency collaborators.
- Quality assurance report.
- Scheduling and other computer components.
- Test folder including estimates and permanent test sets.
- Production folder.
- Component graduation in the various environments.
- Solution deployment plan.
- Operation guides.
- Forms and various requests for other VPTI sectors (security, magnetic space, development support, integration, data administration, etc.).
- Documentation related to component management.
- Any other deliverable required within the framework of this project.
Requirements
- Possess a bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology requiring at least three (3) years of university study (or the comparative evaluation issued by MIFI for degrees obtained outside Quebec), otherwise possess three (3) additional years of experience according to the following criterion.
- Possess eight (8) years of experience in information technology.
- Possess eight (8) years of experience as an organic analyst in the development, maintenance, and evolution of systems, including three (3) years within the last five (5) years.
- Have accumulated 1,000 person-days within the last six (6) years in the maintenance, evolution, and development of systems in a technological and organizational environment comparable to that of the Agency.
- Possess five (5) years of experience as an organic analyst including the use of the Web N-Tiers workshop or the Microsoft Visual Studio.Net development workshop.
