The psychology service is looking for a (1) Neuropsychologist to fill an indefinite replacement position. The assignment is currently in the Neurology sector. This is a full-time replacement (5 days/week). Please note that we are flexible regarding the number of days according to your availability.

The person evaluates and interprets neurocognitive functioning, formulates clinical recommendations, and actively contributes to diagnostic decision-making and treatment planning within multidisciplinary teams. The person also designs cognitive function evaluation activities, orientation, consultation, and teaching.

The incumbent will design and carry out evaluation, orientation, consultation, and psychological treatment activities tailored to the individual and collective needs of users, as well as provide support to healthcare teams as needed. This person may also collaborate on clinical research as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Hold a doctoral degree (Ph.D./DPsy) in clinical psychology or be in the final stages of doctoral studies and have completed all internship hours;
• Be a member of the Order of Psychologists of Quebec;
• Must hold a certification of training issued by the Order of Psychologists of Quebec. Only holders of the certification can identify themselves as neuropsychologists;
• Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience (an asset);
• Interest in teaching activities;
• Interdisciplinary work skills.
