According to the Sectors, The Person

• collects the necessary information for opening the file,
• conducts psychological evaluations of users using appropriate techniques and writes the necessary reports,
• recommends the general orientation of the treatment plan adapted to the client's needs,
• acts as a pivot intervenant and coordinates interdisciplinary plans under their responsibility,
• applies individual or group therapies according to the situation and evaluates their results,
• intervenes promptly and directly in a crisis situation,
• advises intervenants on the design and implementation of intervention plans,
• uses means that favor the continuity and complementarity of psychosocial interventions between the multidisciplinary team's intervenants and the establishment's teams,
• participates in multidisciplinary meetings when required,
• participates in the training of intervenants and trainees of the establishment,
• participates in the evaluation and selection of certain specific resources.

Requirements

• hold a university degree in psychology,
• be a member of the Professional Order of Psychologists of Quebec (OPPQ).
