Technical Agent – Preparation and Quality Control of Electronic Equipment Employer SOS Medic
Work Location Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu (Quebec) Travel required to Quebec and Bromont offices.
Employment Type: Full-time Permanent 31 hours per week 5 days with weekend finishes Rotating day, evening, and night shifts, holidays, as operational needs require
Salary: $24.00/hour SOS Medic is seeking a meticulous, autonomous, and organized technical agent to support internal operations related to the preparation and quality control of electronic equipment for our clients.
The successful candidate will participate in the reception, preparation, programming according to internal procedures, basic functional testing, quality control, inventory management, and shipping of equipment.
Main Responsibilities: Receive electronic equipment from suppliers or client returns.
Verify the compliance of devices upon receipt.
Perform visual inspection of equipment.
Clean, prepare, and restore devices according to internal procedures.
Perform initial equipment programming using software and procedures established by the company.
Conduct basic functional tests and quality checks before putting equipment into service.
Identify devices requiring additional verification and route them to the appropriate service.
Prepare orders for clients.
Package equipment according to shipping procedures.
Participate in the reception, sorting, and inventory control.
Maintain up-to-date preparation and quality control records.
Collaborate with technical, administrative, and customer service teams.
Make frequent trips between the Quebec and Bromont offices to support operations.
Make planned or urgent trips throughout Quebec for RPA inspections.
Requirements
- High school diploma (DES / Secondary V) or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license (Class 5).
- Good work references Ability to travel.
- Good knowledge of the Windows environment.
- Good proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Ease of learning new computer software.
- Good manual dexterity.
- Attention to detail and organizational excellence.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Aptitude to follow technical procedures with rigor.
- Good team spirit.
- Autonomy and sense of responsibility.
-Bonus: DEP in electronics, electromechanics, computer science, electrical engineering, or any other relevant training. Experience in the preparation or assembly of electronic equipment. Basic knowledge of mechanics. Basic knowledge of electronics. Experience in quality control. Experience in inventory management. Experience in the shipment and reception of goods. Experience in a manufacturing or technical environment.
