Pharmacy Technician Assistant (DVCC)

The Proxim Pierre Bergeron and Jean-Christophe Raymond pharmacy located at 555, Saint-Antoine Blvd, Suite 100 in Saint-Jérôme is looking for a full-time DVCC ATP to join its team.

Employment Conditions:

• Full-time (permanent) position, 37.5 hours per week;
• Schedule includes 1 evening per week and 1 weekend every 4 weeks;

Your Tasks

• Welcome and collect relevant patient information;
• Respect legal intervention limits with patients and confidentiality;
• Create new patient files on the computer and update them;
• Process prescriptions by counting pills, applying labels to bottles, and applying appropriate precaution stickers;
• Define merchandise needs and support the person responsible for orders;
• Place products in appropriate locations and ensure medication rotation according to expiration dates and established protocols;
• Perform cash transactions and charge the customer.
• DVCC Tasks:
• Rigorously perform the containing-content (DVCC) verification of pill boxes;
• Ensure the conformity, accuracy, and safety of preparations;
• Participate in the secure preparation and distribution of medications;

Qualifications and Skills

• Pharmacy Technician Assistant diploma, an asset;
• Experience as a laboratory technician;
• Strong customer service sense;
• Sense of organization and autonomy;
• Practice active listening and empathy;
• Team spirit;
• Attention to detail and meticulousness.
