Overview

We are seeking a cybersecurity expert to join our growing team and work on critical infrastructures. This role aligns with AtkinsRéalis' mission, which involves transforming, adopting digital technologies, and ensuring continuous growth in its industrial cybersecurity capabilities. The selected candidate will provide oversight in security and risk management within the specialized field of cybersecurity and industrial control systems (ICS). Our project team leads the cybersecurity program to define resilient solutions, processes, and systems to protect people and critical infrastructure projects, through the design and implementation of a secure infrastructure.

Your Role

• Develop and implement the cybersecurity program for the design and construction of the railway system.
• Identify and mitigate cyber risks, ensure compliance with industry standards, and foster collaboration among technological stakeholders.
• Plan cybersecurity activities and apply a risk-based approach to all project phases: feasibility, design, testing, and commissioning, as well as operation.
• Promote and enforce OT cybersecurity policies and procedures in accordance with APTA, NIST, IEC 62443, and/or ISO 27001 standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, technology, and operations teams to align strategies across networks.
• Conduct gap analyses and threat and vulnerability assessments according to industry standards, identifying critical assets and engaging relevant stakeholders.
• Address information security challenges at every stage of the project lifecycle.
• Formulate concrete recommendations to reduce cybersecurity threats and enhance OT security posture.
• Manage client relationships and advise on recommended actions.
• Lead and mentor junior team members on projects and within teams.

About You

• Degree or bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 8 years of relevant experience in a security role, or any equivalent combination of cybersecurity, network architecture, and/or risk management program experience.
• Cybersecurity certification or demonstrated experience (e.g., CISSP, GICSP, OSCP, C|EH, CISM, IEC 62443 Fundamentals, CompTIA Security+, CCNP, etc.).
• Experience in critical infrastructures and ICS/OT environments.
• Good understanding of IT/OT systems, including servers, networks, workstations, and infrastructure.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards, including APTA, NIST, ISA/IEC 62443, and ISO 27001.
• Strong problem-solving skills and great creativity.
• Desire to learn and grow in a dynamic and constantly evolving cybersecurity environment.
• Bilingual French/English required.*
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Willingness to lead and develop junior team members.
• This position requires knowledge of another language besides French, such as English, as the work produced is intended for audiences located elsewhere in Canada, internationally, or in another region of the world.
