What Your Typical Day Might Look Like

Throughout a typical day, you will provide services related to the taxation of closed corporations, while working as a team to offer tax advice to our clients to help them ensure sound tax management. You will be tasked with reviewing the income tax returns of corporations, partnerships, trusts, and individuals; examining tax provisions, conducting research to support income tax returns, and following up with the various parties involved until the returns are submitted to tax authorities.

You Possess the Following Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree, professional accounting title (an asset);
  • Master’s degree in taxation or enrolled/achievement of the fundamental tax course of the CCA (an asset);
  • At least three or four years of relevant experience in the preparation and review of income tax returns for corporations, partnerships, trusts, and individuals;
  • Experience in tax problem diagnosis and optimization, solution development, communication with clients and internal stakeholders, decision-making facilitation, documentation, client expectation management, and priority management.
  • Total Remuneration

The salary range for this position is $84,000 to $140,000. Some individuals may be eligible for our bonus program. Salary-wise, Deloitte focuses on equity and competitiveness. We regularly compare our data to market benchmark data for various positions, sectors, targets, and levels.
