We are looking for a talented individual to join our team of employee experience and engagement consultants at Mercer. This position will be based in Canada and work remotely.
As an Employee Experience and Engagement Consultant, you will support clients in designing, implementing, analyzing, and interpreting the results of various employee listening projects, including employee engagement and total rewards surveys, interviews, and focus groups.
In this role, you will work with the team to design survey content, analyze collected data, and develop a data-driven narrative structured from the results for clients. You will be responsible for translating employee experience data collected for our clients into strategic recommendations that support organizational performance and long-term talent management goals. You may also be involved in client relationship management and business development.
We Count on You To
- Work in partnership with clients in English or French, including document production, meeting facilitation, and client presentations
- Collaborate within a team to conduct employee engagement or total rewards surveys (i.e., work with clients to develop a questionnaire, analyze quantitative and qualitative results, and write a summary of conclusions)
- Collaborate within a team to conduct qualitative research for clients (e.g., interviews and/or focus groups)
- Develop expertise over time in conducting surveys from A to Z, advising (and presenting) to clients at various stages of the project
- Leverage insights from data to produce concrete, actionable results for clients
- Work collaboratively with other consultants, project managers, and technical/operational team members to ensure client deliverables are submitted on time and according to the project work agreement
- Contribute to the production of Mercer's expertise reflections and content and business development activities
What You Bring
- Excellent communication skills in English are required for this position, as it involves communicating with clients outside the Quebec region
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- At least two years of relevant experience (employee research, employee experience, engagement, or transferable HR, talent development, or client relationship management skills)
- Excellent proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proven client relationship experience would be an asset, as would creative problem-solving skills and a keen sense of business
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable contributing to business development and sales responsibilities

- Strong data analysis experience
