Estimator/Project Manager

Position: Estimator/Project Manager (Senior)

• Hours: Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week
• Location:
• Sindec Group at 160B Montée des Trentes, Mont-Saint-Hilaire, J3H 2R4
• On-site locations associated with each mandate assigned

We are looking for another Good GUS to join our beautiful and large family at our Sindec Group branch in Mont-Saint-Hilaire.

To join our team, we are looking for a very organized person with more than 10 years of experience in a similar position.

Here are the tasks of your future daily routine:

• Conduct site visits to assess damages (water, fire, mold, etc.);
• Prepare detailed estimates using Symbility and Xactimate software;
• Write and submit proposals to insurers;
• Plan and coordinate work with internal teams and subcontractors;
• Monitor schedules and budgets;
• Maintain effective communication with insurers, claims experts, and clients;
• Document files and ensure their compliance;
• Ensure client satisfaction and work quality;
• Any other related tasks
• You would be the right GUS for the position if you possess the following qualities:
• DEC or AEC in building estimation techniques (work experience at an insurer, post-disaster restorer, or independent estimation firm could be equivalent);
• Be a very well-organized person capable of working on multiple files at once;
• At least 10 years of experience in a similar post-disaster position;
• Very good knowledge of Xactimate estimation software (Mandatory);
• Very good knowledge of Symbility (Mandatory);
• French and English: written and spoken professionally (Mandatory);
• IICRC training (an asset);
• Knowledge of post-disaster (major asset);
• Negotiation skills;
• Good interpersonal and written communication skills;
• Ability to make decisions, autonomy, and sense of responsibility;
• Show rigor and attention to detail, having a good sense of initiative;
• Professional attitude and excellent customer service skills.
