Aramark is seeking a Deputy Director for the Baie-James camp.
As a Deputy Director, you will support the Site Director in managing the daily operations of the camp. You will play a key role in coordinating services, including:
- Guest experience
- Report production
- Security
- Food services
- Facility maintenance
You will ensure the optimization of human and material resources while ensuring the smooth operation of the camp in a dynamic environment.
What We Offer
- Rotating schedule: 2 weeks of work at the camp, followed by 2 weeks of vacation
- Work shifts of 10 to 12 hours per day at the camp
- Transportation provided with meeting points (marshalling point) or possible pickup from:
- + Quebec, Saguenay, Bagotville
- Free accommodation and meals during your stay at the camp
Required Profile
- Ability and motivation to work in a remote area
- Flexibility for travel and long rotations
- Leadership, organizational skills, and team spirit
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations at the site
- Manage employees effectively through appropriate supervision and training
- Ensure that guests/clients at the site receive superior customer service
- Establish budgets and forecasts, and fulfill other financial tasks related to activities
- Place orders for all necessary supplies
- Monitor and train employees, establish schedules to ensure the best possible customer service
- Perform reception tasks and all other responsibilities associated with the role of administrator
- Submit daily, weekly, and bi-weekly reports to the client and Aramark
- Ensure regular communication through daily site meetings
- Be responsible for implementing a safety-focused culture at the site
- Perform all required facility inspections regarding the kitchen, food service, security, and maintenance
- Support HR in processing the payroll of frontline employees and help them manage their concerns
- Support the camp director by effectively controlling inventory and communicating any issues related to forecasts
Qualifications
- At least three years of experience in administration (a SIMDUT certification or food safety certification is an asset)
- Proven leadership abilities
- Proficiency in Office Suite, comfortable with computer tools
- Clean driving record
- Ability to work in a unionized environment
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

The salary range for this position is $65,000.00 to $70,000.00.
