Joining the Real Estate Management and Material Resources Management Department means being part of a reliable and forward-thinking team that:

  • manages, maintains and repairs the key buildings of democracy in Quebec, both heritage and modern, and the lands occupied by the National Assembly;
  • coordinates the management of major improvement, construction and renovation projects, develops the annual planning and advises the authorities on the matter;
  • provides ergonomic consulting services and arranges workspaces and rooms for institutional or protocol events;
  • supports parliamentarians, political staff and administrative staff in fulfilling their functions by providing office supplies and efficient mail, messaging, printing and photocopying services.

  • This position at the National Assembly brings you to:
  • perform daily preventive, scheduled and corrective maintenance work on the electrical equipment and networks installed in the buildings and on the lands of the National Assembly;
  • inspect monthly, or according to the prescribed frequencies, the electrical equipment and networks, including emergency generators, motors, transformers and 600-volt electrical distribution centers;
  • perform maintenance work on the architectural and perimeter lighting installations present in the buildings and on the lands of the National Assembly;
  • regularly perform installation, modification, replacement and dismantling work on the electrical and computer cabling infrastructure in the buildings and on the lands of the National Assembly.

  • 34.33 $ *

  • Valid and recognized electricity certification or hold a valid and recognized "C" license in electricity issued by the competent authority.

For any education completed outside Canada, it must be subject to a comparative evaluation (equivalence certificate) issued by the *Ministry of Immigration, Francization and Integration*.

  • Have an appropriate knowledge of French for the functions.
  • Hold Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status or a work permit issued by the competent federal authority to hold a job in the Quebec Public Service.
