The challenges we offer you

  • Perform manual tasks such as:
  • + Digging and filling holes and trenches
  • + Pruning and felling trees
  • + Loading and unloading materials
  • + Handling heavy objects
  • Control traffic;
  • Spread asphalt concrete, adhesive;
  • Work on the repair of bridges and foundations;
  • Proceed with the installation of bridges and clean storm drains and sewers;
  • Work at heights to perform: repairs, formwork, concreting, cleaning;
  • Repair, remake or install safety elements;
  • Use light and portable equipment (pneumatic hammer, plate compactor, etc.);
  • Receive and verify materials on the site;
  • Assist in surveying and mapping work;
  • Drive a light vehicle or van;
  • Perform all other related tasks.

The person we are looking for must meet the job requirements

  • NEW! Hold a high school diploma (DES) or a relevant studies certificate whose equivalence is recognized by the competent authority.

+ Each missing year of schooling can be compensated by two years of paid or unpaid work experience, including family load + Experiences acquired in the job market as well as those acquired outside the job market are recognized. Furthermore, experiences acquired during the same period can be cumulated without, however, constituting an experience of a duration superior to this period of concomitance + The DES can also be compensated by a professional specialization certificate or a professional studies diploma + A person can submit her/his application if she/he is in the process of completing the last year of schooling required for the acquisition of the required diploma

  • For consideration, any schooling completed outside of Canada must be subject to a comparative evaluation (equivalence certificate) issued and received from the Ministry of Immigration, Francization and Integration;
  • Possess Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status, or a work permit issued by the competent federal authority to hold a job in the public service of Quebec;
  • Have appropriate French language skills for the functions.
