Traffic and Inventory Clerk

International Matex Tank Terminals (IMTT) is a company specializing in the reception, storage, and distribution of liquid products (oil, biofuels, chemicals). IMTT-Québec has been active in the Port of Québec since 1986. IMTT can meet the various supply needs of its customers by handling products by ship, tanker trucks, or tanker cars. IMTT operates piers 50 and 51 in the Port of Québec with two other operators. More than 50 employees are needed to maintain the highest standards in quality, health, and safety, 24/7, 365 days a year.

The traffic and inventory clerk will be responsible for coordinating all customer product movements, from entry to exit of the terminal. They will need to closely monitor inventories and provide administrative support to customers.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the direct supervision of the traffic and inventory manager, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks:

• Assist and help the traffic and inventory manager in their duties
• Coordinate the dispatch and receipt of products from customers
• Participate in inventory management and monitor the capacity of tanks
• Enter customer orders into computer systems
• Provide information on operations to implement customer requests
• Maintain up-to-date statistics and document classification
• Issue cards for automated loading and provide corresponding training
• Perform all tasks requested by your supervisor or directors
• Keep up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations on the transport of dangerous goods
• Interaction with the operations management system (SCADA) (training provided)

• Professional or college diploma in a relevant field, or equivalent experience
• Absolute bilingualism
• High concentration and attention to detail
• Ability to work under constant pressure
• Good knowledge of inventory management
• Good computer skills
• Superior mathematical and statistical skills
• Ability to work in a team
• Autonomy
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Available for evening and weekend shifts on rotation
