Agropur is looking for a maintenance supervisor to join its team in Beauceville.

Reporting to the Chief Maintenance, the Maintenance Supervisor manages their team and ensures the achievement of performance objectives (Health and Safety, Quality, Costs, Deadlines, Mobilization, Environment) within a collaborative culture. They participate in the improvement and maintenance of the preventive and predictive maintenance best practices program. They work closely with the Maintenance Workshop Supervisor, Maintenance Planner, Inventory Coordinator, Reliability Engineer, and Coordinators of other departments.

• Salary scale 005: $84,600 to $105,800 (The base salary will be determined based on your academic training, experience, training, and skills relevant to the position.)

How You Will Contribute to Collective Success

• Manage maintenance employees by focusing on mobilization, accountability, and skill development.
• Ensure compliance with the collective agreement while maintaining a business partnership-based management approach with all on-site collaborators.
• Coordinate and supervise work through work orders in the GMAO, and by issuing various work permits.
• Participate in prioritizing work in collaboration with various stakeholders in the plant.
• Participate in failure analysis, continuous improvement of operations, and initiate problem-solving with work teams.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental, sanitation, and quality programs (ISO, HACCP, SQF).
• Lead performance meetings with your work team.
• Actively participate in various plant committees and the deployment of different projects.
• Approve and follow up on worked hours, vacations, and schedules.

The type of player who integrates into the team

• Diploma in Industrial Maintenance.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in team supervision in a unionized environment.
• Experience in the food or manufacturing industry.
• Technical experience in the fields of automation, networks, electricity, instrumentation, control, or other.
• Good knowledge of computer science, Microsoft Office, and GMAO programs.
