To qualify for a student position in the public service, you must be enrolled full-time in a program of study (or part-time if you are in your penultimate or final session of your program). It is mandatory to email all requested documents to the Desired Profile and Application Procedures** section. If you do not do so, your application will not be considered.

We are seeking a student to perform various operational and administrative tasks as a Tribunal Support Agent.

Your Role

On a daily basis, you will perform the following functions:

  • Welcome clients presenting themselves at the Tribunal, validate and confirm their appointments, inform them about the proceedings of their hearing, and provide basic information about the services offered by the Tribunal;
  • Prepare case files by printing documents to be submitted to administrative judges or special clerks before or during the hearings;
  • Assign hearing rooms based on established criteria and ensure they have all the necessary forms and supplies;
  • Provide technological support to administrative judges and special clerks during virtual hearings;
  • Perform various transactions, such as batch payment of applications, payment of hearing recordings or transcriptions, sale of leases, etc.;
  • Provide support to various teams as needed.
  • Compensation

We offer a minimum hourly rate of $21.65. A 6.5% premium is added to this rate to compensate for certain social benefits.

In addition to working weekdays, the position offers a flexible schedule that promotes the balance between work, studies, and personal life with adapted hours:

  • Regular schedule of 14 hours per week during study sessions;
  • Schedule of 21 hours per week during reading weeks;
  • Schedule of 35 hours per week during the summer and holiday periods.

Requirements to Qualify for a Student Position

  • In addition to meeting the above profile, you must:
  • Be enrolled full-time (or part-time if you are in your penultimate or final session of your program) for the Fall 2026 session;
  • Be a student in the DEC in Legal Techniques or Bachelor's degree in Law;
  • Be legally authorized to work in Canada;
  • Have appropriate French language skills for the job requirements.

Hiring is conditional upon the results of a security clearance.
