The BESS team is mainly based in Montreal, but you could perform your work in our office in Quebec. Here, collaboration will become your fuel! Partnership relationships will be part of your daily routine.

What will your daily routine look like?

As a student, you will work closely with the Social Security Agreement Officer and contribute to various mandates of analysis, research and support for international partnerships.

More specifically, you will be called upon to:

  • Analyze forms and verify that the information they contain complies with the provisions of the social security agreements concluded with different countries.
  • Compare the eligibility criteria and the terminology used in the agreements to identify discrepancies and propose solutions by producing reports.
  • Validate information tables produced using new technologies by comparing them to the official content of international agreements, analyzing the discrepancies and providing recommendations.
  • Participate in the analysis of operational issues related to the implementation of social security agreements and formulate recommendations.
  • Contribute to the preparation of communications intended for national and international partners (emails, letters, meeting documents, etc.).
  • Conduct research, analyze the information collected and produce synthesis documents to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate on the preparation of various documents such as reports, information sheets, memoranda and procedures.
  • Participate in the updating of contact lists, employer directories and other information management tools.
  • Support the team in the preparation and follow-up of meetings with partners in Quebec, Canada and abroad.

This experience will allow you to develop your skills in analysis, research, professional writing and international relations in a stimulating and collaborative environment.
