The challenges to overcome!

Within the team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the job placement journey of clients relatively far from the labor market (participants in ... financial assistance last resort providers or people without public income support).

Their role will consist of offering specialized employability services by coordinating between the services offered and the needs of the person. More specifically,

  • They conduct employability assessment interviews to evaluate skills, integration challenges, and issues facing clients in their job market integration
  • Following this assessment, the agent evaluates the relevance of establishing an employability path with the client. If a path is established, they develop an intervention plan and agree on the required support, whether provided by themselves or by a specialized employability organization
  • They conduct regular follow-ups with the client throughout their journey to support them towards success and make adjustments as needed
  • Support continues even after the client has secured a job to provide employment retention services to the client and employer as needed, in collaboration with the business service.

Under the authority of the Director of the Services Québec office, the successful candidate will actively contribute to the regionalized placement and support activities for individuals in the Laurentides region.
