- The Opportunity
This position will be in Quebec in the Point of Care, Diagnostics division. We're empowering smarter medical and economic decision making to help transform the way people manage their health at all stages of life. Our Point of Care diagnostic portfolio spans key health and therapeutic areas, including Chemistry, Electrolytes, Hematology, Blood Gases, Coagulation, Endocrinology, Cardiac Markers, Neurology, and Informatics. As the Regional Sales Executive, you will have the chance to maintain and expand sales of the company's portfolio of products in existing accounts and developing new business within an assigned region and market segment. You will also engage with key personnel to restructure customer processes to better facilitate patient care using the company's products.
What You'll Do
- Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures. Achieve sales targets through efficient and effective sales cycle, region and market segment management; maintain sales base while also closing new business in both new and existing accounts.
- Ensure all administrative tasks (i.e. training modules, expense reports, sales forecasts, business plans, etc.) are completed promptly and accurately.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders within accounts.
- Develop and execute sales strategies; utilize available resources effectively; lead and or participate in cross-functional teams.
- Travel up to 50% of the time both domestically and internationally to support business goals.
- Understand and comply with all applicable EH&S policies, procedures and guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Six to ten years of relevant experience.
- Ability to maintain consistent momentum with multiple products and across multiple sales cycles.
- Ability to clearly, concisely and accurately convey communications.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills; analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to prioritize and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to provide solutions and contingency plans through the comprehensive review of alternatives.
- Ability to speak confidently in public and present material to Executive-level management.
- Knowledge of MS-Office Software and CRM Databases.
- Travel is approximately 50%.
- Territory, part of Quebec and East Coast.
- The incumbent must be able to communicate well in English (50% of the time), as his or her duties require interaction with stakeholders and colleagues outside Quebec and Canada.
- Compensation
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $87,000 to $127,600 CAD.
