The Role: We are looking for an exceptional Clinic Manager to lead our clinic in Lévis!
Reporting directly to the General Manager, Quebec, the Clinic Manager will be responsible for the daily operations and performance of the clinic. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of technicians and support staff, while working closely with the leadership team to shape the culture, customer experience, and success of the clinic.
You are the ideal candidate if you are a hands-on operator with strong leadership, excellent communication skills, a good sense of performance indicators, and a real passion for developing high-performing teams in a vibrant environment.
Responsibilities
- *Clinic Operations and Performance*
- Lead the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring exceptional care for exceptional patients and solid operational performance
- Track and optimize key clinic indicators — from customer satisfaction to capacity — through regular follow-up meetings and planning sessions in collaboration with the Quebec General Manager
- Manage the clinic's schedule, appointment booking, and capacity planning to maximize both client access and staff well-being
- Administer the practice management software, update it, and adapt it to the evolving needs of the team
- Manage inventory levels, vendor relationships, and resources necessary for the optimal functioning of the clinic
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety, regulatory, and professional standards in Quebec
- *Team Leadership*
- Recruit, integrate, coach, and develop the clinic's support team
- Approve and control timesheets, schedules, and leave requests
- Identify opportunities for team development, provide regular feedback, and ensure continuous growth
- Advocate for your team's interests so that they feel heard and their perspective is taken into account in discussions with the leadership team
- Maintain a culture that emphasizes the balance between work and personal life, flexibility, compassion, and a blame-free and judgment-free environment
- *Customer Experience and Growth*
- Ensure excellent customer service and address delicate situations personally and promptly
- Identify opportunities to improve the customer journey, from appointment booking to post-visit follow-up
- Collaborate with the General Manager, Quebec, on local growth initiatives, community engagement, and operational improvements
- Resolve issues, overcome obstacles, and support the team's daily needs
Experience and Skills
- 3 to 5 years of experience in operations, clinic management, or team management
- A confirmed leader: you know how to inspire, develop, and empower a team
- Strong analytical skills; comfortable with tracking operational KPIs and using data to make decisions
- A builder mindset: pragmatic, resourceful, and ready to roll up your sleeves
- High emotional intelligence and exceptional communication skills
- Proficiency in French and practical knowledge of English
- Experience in veterinary medicine or the healthcare sector is an asset, but not required
