As an Internal Controls Auditor in financial information, you will play a key role in developing a high-performing controls framework, collaborating with international teams and participating in governance, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.

**Your Impact**

  • Participate in the coordination and execution of internal controls tests under NI 52-109 across WSP’s global regions, including the consolidation of results and documentation to support reports for the audit committee.
  • Support the documentation and harmonization of internal controls across regions and new acquisitions, strengthening the financial information control environment and the certification process.
  • Advise and follow up on remediation plans related to control deficiencies.
  • Analyze and summarize test results, trends in deficiencies, and the status of remediation plans to support reports to management and the audit committee.
  • Collaborate with global financial and cross-functional teams to support testing, documentation, and remediation activities.
  • Contribute to the continuous evolution of the internal controls framework in a dynamic and growing global environment.
  • **The Skills That Set You Apart**
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or accounting information systems; CPA designation obtained or in the process of being obtained.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in external and/or internal audit, preferably in a publicly traded company or accounting firm.
  • Proficiency in English is required as the individual will participate in national initiatives requiring communication with English-speaking colleagues.
  • Experience with NI 52-109 and/or SOX 404, as well as a solid understanding of internal controls frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills, in English with functional knowledge of French, and the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset focused on results, with strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative and deadline-driven environment, with a strong sense of initiative and detail.
  • Experience collaborating with teams located in different regions and time zones, with availability to travel internationally as needed.
  • Knowledge of IT controls, data analysis tools (Power BI, Excel), Oracle Fusion, and IFRS standards considered an asset.

  • AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $89,800 - $118,900
  • MB & ON: $81,900 - $112,800
  • NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $81,100 - $107,700
