Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 22, 2026

Groupe Sentinella is a Quebec-based recruitment firm. This policy explains, in plain English, what information we collect, why, where it goes, and how you keep control of it. If anything is unclear, contact us — details at the bottom of the page.

1. Who is responsible

Groupe Sentinella is responsible for the personal information collected on this site. Our designated person responsible for the protection of personal information (under Quebec's Loi 25) is our CEO, Louis-Philip Marcoux. Contact details are in section 9.

2. What we collect

We only collect what you voluntarily provide, primarily via the talent bench form:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • LinkedIn profile URL (optional)
  • Resume in PDF or DOCX format
  • Any free-text comment you add (e.g. target role, salary expectations)

The site itself drops no advertising cookies or behavioural-analytics trackers. No information is collected silently in the background.

3. Why we collect it

One purpose: matching you with a recruitment mandate that fits your profile. In practice, that means:

  • Saving your profile in our candidate database
  • Reviewing it when a client gives us a matching mandate
  • Contacting you to discuss a specific opportunity

We never sell your information. We don't send newsletters. We only share your profile with a client after your explicit consent for that specific mandate.

4. Where your information is stored (and who can see it)

We use two third-party providers for the technical functions of our site. Both are headquartered in the United States and may store data outside Quebec — which means that, by submitting your profile, your information may be processed outside Quebec.

  • Cloudflare R2

Resume file hosting. Cloudflare is a U.S. company with data centres worldwide.

  • Dover ATS

Applicant tracking system where your profile is stored. Dover is a U.S. company.

We have assessed both providers and concluded they offer a level of protection comparable to what Quebec's Loi 25 requires. If you prefer your profile not leave Quebec, do not submit the form — you can email us directly (section 9) and we will handle your application manually.

5. How long we keep your information

As long as you remain relevant to active or future mandates, but no longer than 36 months without contact. After 36 months of inactivity, your profile is deleted automatically — or sooner if you request it.

6. Your rights

You have the right, at any time and at no cost, to:

  • Access the information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request complete deletion of your profile
  • Withdraw your consent at any time
  • Receive a copy of your information in a structured digital format (portability)

To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address in section 9. We respond within 30 days.

7. Security

Your information is protected by industry-standard technical measures: encrypted transmission (HTTPS), access limited via authentication tokens, and storage buckets with restricted read/write access. No system is perfect — if we detect a breach affecting your information, we will inform you promptly, as required by Loi 25.

8. Filing a complaint

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can file a complaint with Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information (CAI) at cai.gouv.qc.ca.
