Located in Laval, Maison L’Esther is part of the member houses of the Group of Houses for Women Victims of Domestic Violence. Its feminist approach, both in its organizational management and in its interventions with women, encourages equal relationships, awareness, and women's autonomy. The organization plays an active role in its community to support women victims of domestic violence and their children. We are looking for a CEO who ensures the overall management of the organization and its resources by mobilizing the teams, supporting organizational development, and ensuring the realization of its mission. She relies on a management team composed of a clinical coordinator, an assistant to the director, and an administrative and accounting technician.
Your
Mandate: Ensure the overall management of the organization: HR, financial, administrative, fixed assets, and associative and democratic life Support the board of directors in the exercise of its governance role and ensure the implementation of the adopted orientations Exercise collaborative and mobilizing leadership, fully assuming your decision-making role, including the ability to consult, take into account perspectives, and make decisions when required, even in the absence of consensus Coordinate the management team, foster information flow among the teams, and ensure rigorous follow-up of priorities, decisions, and objectives Ensure the coherence and evolution of the service offer in line with the mission and the needs of women and children victims of domestic violence Develop and maintain strategic partnerships contributing to the organization's visibility and development, and represent the organization to key community and institutional partners and stakeholders. Minimum requirements: Advanced degree in management or a related field, or more than 10 years of relevant experience in management Minimum of 7 years of experience in management in a leadership role Significant experience in team management, resource management, and labor relations Demonstrated knowledge of the Quebec political, institutional, and social system Good knowledge of Quebec labor and employment law Comprehensive understanding of the issues related to domestic violence, or ability and interest to develop an understanding of the issues of domestic violence Adherence to the organization's mission and values as well as the principles of the
