- Manage project accounting (80%);
o Manage payment requests (advancement) per project in collaboration with project managers (including invoice verification and cost allocation) via the Maestro system; o Follow up with professionals, clients on the invoice approval cycle, and follow up with subcontractors on denials/receipts; o Prepare invoices and release withholdings; o Process subcontractor invoices; o Follow up on accounts receivable in collaboration with the controller and project managers team; o Verify with the project management team all project end-of-job documents; o Verify bank statements; o Open accounts as well as create clients and suppliers in the Maestro system; o Deposit checks received by mail to the bank.
- Manage administrative tasks (20%);
- o Occasional client reception;
- o Answer incoming calls via the general line ("zero" line) sporadically;
o General watch over common areas (cleanliness, organization, basic supplies, proper functioning of equipment); o Set up meeting rooms as needed for meetings and events; o Manage email and package reception and dispatch; o Coordinate service providers (meal orders, shredding service and housekeeping management), including planning, follow-up, and communication; o Manage stocks and supplies (tracking, ordering, and inventory optimization) to maintain availability of commodities and supplies.
- Provide support/support to the controller as needed;
- Participate in the development and improvement of internal procedures at the accounting level;
- Any other relevant tasks with the job title and requested by the immediate supervisor.
- Required Skills
- This great opportunity is for you if you have:
- DEC in administration or DEP in accounting or equivalent training or experience;
- Strong experience with various accounting software and general accounting (mandatory);
- Several years of experience in accounting, specifically in the construction field (major asset);
- Advanced knowledge of the Maestro software (asset);
- Good mastery of French, both written and spoken;
- Excellent mastery of Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, Outlook);
- Outstanding rigor and structure, sharp organizational skills and versatility;
- Discretion;
- Proactivity, autonomy, and resourcefulness;
- Strong interpersonal skills (positive attitude, diplomacy, listening, respect, empathy, and openness)
- Enjoyment of working in a team.
- Salary: 26.00$ to 30.00$ per hour
