Description
- Welcome citizens at the municipal counter, receive calls, direct the caller to the concerned person or service, compile dog licenses and follow-up;
- Sorting of various documents;
- Posting documents on the municipality's website and Facebook page;
- Writing and sending the monthly bulletin for citizens (door-to-door or online), important information, add the environmental capsules that will be provided (drinking water, sewers, etc.) by other departments;
- Participate in the electoral process;
- Various invoicing;
- Preparation of payroll and payment of DAS, employment statements;
- Entry of invoices, online payment of accounts, printing of checks;
- Monthly bank reconciliations, manage petty cash;
- Ledger entries, regularizations;
- Annual taxation and update of taxation;
- Follow-up of accounts with citizens;
- Participate in budget planning and management;
- Reporting of accounts for grants;
- Preparation of semi-annual reports presented to the council;
- Preparation of financial statements and close the year;
- Perform various purchases for the office (stationery, office supplies, etc.).
- All other tasks requested by the immediate supervisor to ensure the proper functioning of municipal activities.
- Hold a diploma in accounting;
- Any combination of relevant education and experience may be considered;
- Good mastery of the Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.);
- Knowledge of the municipal environment (ASSET);
- Knowledge of a municipal management software (CIM) (ASSET).
- Have a very good mastery of French (spoken and written) and proficient in English (spoken);
- Be proactive, meticulous, have the capacity and willingness to learn;
- Have a sense of listening and good communication skills with the public;
- Have a sense of organization and ethics. Respect for confidentiality is essential.
- Permanent position, full-time
- Working hours: 32 to 35 hours per week
- Salary: To be discussed based on the candidate's experience
