About the Role
Are you eager to play a strategic role for a growing company? Are you passionate about construction and innovation? Do you have a dynamic and entrepreneurial personality? HMC is currently looking for a Site Supervisor.
*You must be mobile and the work schedule is 4/3 (Monday to Thursday)*
Responsibilities
- Plan and organize production while respecting deadlines, costs, and quality;
- Ensure fabrication according to modular building standards;
- Improve processes by applying Lean Manufacturing principles;
- Supervise and lead teams to foster collaborative and high-performing work;
- Analyze performance indicators and implement corrective actions;
- Ensure safety and quality by adhering to standards and procedures;
- Maintain equipment in collaboration with technical teams;
- Coordinate with other services (logistics, procurement, maintenance, human resources) to ensure smooth operations;
- Be an ambassador for the RIOUX brand and all its divisions;
- Perform any other related tasks.
Qualifications
- Hold carpentry-cabinetmaking certificates or equivalent experience;
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a site supervisor, construction management, or similar role;
- Have extensive experience in wooden frame construction;
- Ability to use various technologies;
- Excellent reading skills for plans and estimates;
- Ability to effectively manage a team;
- Competence in quality control of constructed buildings;
- Professionalism: autonomy, integrity, and trust;
- Organizational skills, initiative, and leadership;
- Ability to manage stress, adapt, and make decisions;
- Aptitude to work with tight deadlines;
- Operational rigor and intellectual curiosity;
- Excellent French communication skills, both written and oral;
- Proficiency in Office 365 suite.
Compensation and Benefits
- Average of 10 months of construction CCQ over the last 3 years, and 12 months for 2025-2026;
- Salary at commercial rate + $10/hour bonus;
- Provided vehicle;
- $100/day for meals when traveling over 120km;
- Provided accommodation;

- Employment Conditions
Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday 12h.
Work Location: Matane / Carleton-sur-Mer, QC / Maria, QC / Other possible projects
