Description of the Ministry or Organization
- General Information
- The position is to be filled at the Centralized Operational Service
- This is an occasional position for a duration of 1 year
- The person holding the position must work in a fully in-person mode only
- Daily Tasks:
The person holding the position performs various tasks in support of the operations and activities of the justice services at the Saint-Hyacinthe Pre-Archiving Center. Generally, they ensure the conservation of judicial archives in the region. More specifically, they ensure the processing, tracking, and computer entry related to document management. They may be called upon to communicate with various stakeholders, whether with litigants or staff at the courthouse. More specifically, they will:
Act in operational and administrative support to contribute to the proper functioning of judicial archives:
- Daily management of the generic email box of the CPA
- Process and forward requests received in the generic email box
- Classify various documents
- Perform computer entry of files, requests, statistics, etc.
- In support of the technician, manage judicial documents and notary deeds (deposit, consultation) and proceed with their destruction in accordance with the rules
- Receive and process requests for copies of notary deeds
- Perform document management, according to the retention schedule, under the supervision of the technician
- Communicate with various stakeholders when documents are missing in a file

Salary Scale: From $44,233 to $58,515
These amounts do not include the 0.11% adjustment based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI). This adjustment will be made later, retroactively as of March 31, 2026.

Desired Profile and Application Procedures
Essentials
- Hold a high school diploma (DES) or a relevant certificate of studies whose equivalence is recognized by the competent authority.
Each missing year of education can be offset by two years of paid or unpaid work experience, including family workload. The DES can also be offset by a professional specialization certificate or a professional studies diploma.
- Possess two years of relevant experience for the Judicial Activities Agent.
Relevant experiences acquired in the job market as well as those acquired outside the job market are recognized. Furthermore, relevant experiences acquired during the same period can be combined without exceeding the duration of that period of overlap.
Each block of two missing years of relevant experience can be offset by one year of post-secondary education with relevant training for the exercise of the Judicial Activities Agent's responsibilities.
One missing year of relevant experience can also be offset by a relevant professional studies diploma or a relevant professional specialization certificate totaling at least 600 hours and at most 900 hours.
Two missing years of relevant experience can also be offset by a relevant professional studies diploma or a relevant professional specialization certificate totaling more than 900 hours.
For consideration, any education completed outside of Canada must be subject to a comparative evaluation (equivalence certificate) issued by the Ministry of Immigration, Francization, and Integration.
- Possess Canadian citizenship or permanent resident status or a work permit issued by the competent federal authority allowing you to work within our organization.
A person awaiting proof of permanent resident status or a work permit allowing them to work within our organization can submit their application to the present selection process. However, they must be authorized to work legally in Canada at the time of their appointment.
- Have appropriate knowledge of French for the functions;
- Hiring is conditional upon the results of a security check.
