Under the authority of the IT service director, the person will participate in all activities related to the management of the IT infrastructure and, if necessary, provide level II and III technical support.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the management, maintenance, and evolution of network equipment and servers;
- Contribute to the management and maintenance of the security of the IT network;
- Diagnose failures, identify their causes, and perform upgrades of server hardware and software;
- Optimize the network infrastructure by implementing installation or redesign projects of hardware and software solutions;
- Manage user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft 365;
- Collaborate on IT projects, particularly on the technical aspects;
- Ensure the deployment of equipment, software, and applications;
- Perform analyses, backups, and system restorations in case of incidents;
- Monitor and verify the status of various IT services;
- Provide technical support and an advisory role to users;
- Provide follow-up to the customer;
- Document incidents, interventions, and tasks performed;
- Perform any other tasks related to the position.
Requirements
- DEC in computer science or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience;
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
- Excellent knowledge of Windows Server and Linux systems, as well as network concepts (TCP/IP, VPN, DHCP, DNS, etc.);
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Azure Active Directory;
- Good knowledge of Active Directory, as well as SAN and NAS storage technologies;
- Very good knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V);
- Knowledge of network equipment: routers, switches, firewalls, LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi;
- Good knowledge of Veeam backup solutions;
- Knowledge of HP/Aruba equipment (an asset);
- Knowledge of WatchGuard equipment (an asset);
- Completed Microsoft certification (MCSE) (an asset).

- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating in a team;
- Good knowledge of French, both spoken and written.
SALARY RANGE: From $55,500 to $72,300 per year, depending on experience.
