Join our growing Customer Service team and play a key role in delivering a differentiated customer experience for our high-value strategic clients. The RBC Transactional Banking Services team offers comprehensive treasury and liquidity management solutions, international trade financing, and payment services to corporate and institutional clients. It helps businesses optimize their working capital, manage risks, and streamline operations through innovative digital tools and global expertise.
As a Senior Client Advisor, Customer Service, you will be a key member of the Customer Relationship team, specializing in treasury management products. You will be the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients and coordinate and collaborate with partners to resolve service requests and deepen client relationships.
What are the tasks?
- Provide a high-quality customer experience by offering quick and accurate responses, putting the client's needs first, and taking responsibility for resolving requests at the first contact
- Collaborate with Customer Relationship and Operations teams to offer expert advice, coordinate complex integrated service solutions, and address client concerns from a long-term perspective
- Record customer complaints and resolve them within reasonable timeframes, determining the root causes of issues and offering effective solutions
- Balance competing requests and prioritize tasks to meet stakeholder requirements, and escalate questions that may impact the customer experience or RBC standards, including policy, compliance, and reputation risk
- Regularly review customer services to improve product usage and identify new opportunities
- Inform clients and promote the adoption of digital solutions to enable clients to use self-service solutions and enhance their overall experience
- Provide personalized product training to clients, as needed, to meet their specific needs
- Contribute to team initiatives and develop expertise in solutions (expert-resource)
- Maintain up-to-date records of service requests and produce the required reports to ensure transparency and management
- What is required to succeed?
Essential Skills
- Three to five years of experience in the field, along with excellent practical knowledge of treasury management operations and products
- Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will serve clients and collaborate with RBC colleagues and partners across Canada, both in French and English
- Effective communication
- Strong attention to detail and problem analysis and resolution skills
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team
Desired Skills
- Customer service experience in the commercial banking or large enterprise sector
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), CertICM, or other relevant professional designation
