- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Serve as a key liaison between Radio-Canada’s core departments — including ICI TOU.TV, Digital Products \& Innovation, Communications (social media, public relations and promotion), Partnerships, Sales, Schedule \& Broadcasting, Business \& Rights, Administrative Services, Regional Media and Technical Production — to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
- Digital Transformation: Translate senior leadership’s strategic direction into concrete action plans, leveraging the strength of traditional television programming to drive growth across all digital platforms.
- Major Event Management: Coordinate the execution of high-profile, international projects (e.g., the Olympics, Eurovision Song Contest) through tight, cross-functional collaboration.
- Regulatory and Institutional Compliance: Ensure production decisions and processes strictly uphold Radio-Canada’s obligations to official language minority communities (OLMCs) and Indigenous partners.
Leadership and Talent Development
- Team Management and Engagement: Lead, inspire and engage the Arts, Variety, Factual and Sports Programming team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Supervision and Mentorship: Supervise content managers, support them in their day-to-day roles, evaluate performance and implement tailored professional development plans to help them grow in their roles.
- Human Resources Management: Manage human resources and labour relations in a unionized environment, ensuring full compliance with collective agreements and corporate policies.
- Culture of Innovation: Encourage creative thinking and experimentation to continuously adapt our programming lineup to an evolving digital landscape.
