The General Association of Students of the Université du Québec en Outaouais (AGE-UQO) is looking for an organized, self-sufficient, and rigorous person to support its administrative activities and the proper functioning of its services.
Under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager and in collaboration with the Executive Council, the selected person will participate in the administrative support of the organization and contribute to the realization of various projects aimed at the student community.
This person will have to carry out their tasks while respecting the mission of AGE-UQO, which is to officially and exclusively represent all of its members to the Université du Québec en Outaouais and any relevant external instance. AGE-UQO represents and defends the interests of students by promoting their success, well-being, and an inclusive university life, while offering various services and forms of support. It also ensures responsible management of collective resources and acts as a spokesperson to university instances and its partners. This person will also follow the fundamental values of the association, which are equity, diversity, inclusion, respect, and integrity.
Main Responsibilities
- Welcome students and respond to their information requests;
- Answer phone calls, emails, and ensure necessary follow-ups;
- Provide administrative support to members of the Executive Council;
- Participate in the preparation of documents, letters, and various communications;
- Contribute to the management of calendars and the tracking of deadlines;
- Collaborate on the organization of student activities and events;
- Perform any other administrative task that supports the proper functioning of the organization.
Qualifications Required
- College or university diploma in a relevant field (administration, management, accounting, human sciences, or another related field);
- Excellent mastery of French, both oral and written;
- Good mastery of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook);
- Experience in a non-profit organization, an association, or a university environment (asset).

- Employment Conditions
- Full-time contract;
- Work location: Alexandre-Taché and Lucien Brault campuses of UQO, Gatineau;
- Salary according to experience and applicable policies;
- Start date: as soon as possible
