To support our growth, we are looking for a Human Resources Advisor passionate about human relations and fieldwork.

Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will actively contribute to the daily management of HR activities while participating in the implementation of impactful projects affecting our employees and managers.

The position is primarily based at two of our Longueuil sites, with occasional travel to our two other locations, ensuring a close HR presence across all teams.

Your main responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding

• Participate in the entire recruitment process (job postings, resume screening, interviews, reference checks, and follow-ups);
• Coordinate the welcome and onboarding of new employees;
• Monitor probationary periods.

HR Support

• Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding HR policies and practices;
• Develop a regular field presence to build trust;
• Answer employee questions about benefits, internal policies, and HR programs.

Human Resources Administration

• Prepare employment contracts, letters, and other HR documents;
• Update employee files and databases;
• Participate in job description reviews and contribute to job classification and salary equity projects;
• Track performance evaluations, training, and personnel movements.

Health and Safety

• Participate in the administrative follow-up of CNESST files;
• Collaborate on maintaining SST registers;
• Support SST committee activities.

Benefits and Payroll

• Manage administrative aspects of group insurance;
• Handle registrations, modifications, and follow-ups with the provider;
• Support payroll activities and act as a backup when needed.

• Desired Profile

We are looking for someone who enjoys being on the field as much as working on diverse HR files.

You possess

• A degree in human resources, industrial relations, administration, or a related field;
• 2 to 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong customer service orientation;
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills;
• Attention to detail, autonomy, and good judgment;
• Respect for confidentiality;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite;
• A valid driver's license allowing occasional travel between our sites.

Assets

• Experience in a manufacturing environment;
• Knowledge of CNESST;
• Experience with group insurance;
• Knowledge of a payroll software (Desjardins is an asset).
