Expeditor

The Expeditor is responsible for supporting the planning staff and performing detail work such as finding the status of individual parts and expediting them through the system for immediate use in the production of aircraft interiors. This position reports to the Production Manager.

Summary of Duties (may or may not include the following)

• Prepare shortage lists using MPR system (Royal IV).
• Status the Planner of parts and expedites parts in shortage lists.
• General Notes:
• All employees have an affirmative duty to protect and maintain the confidentiality of Safran products.
• As business conditions change it is necessary that all employees productively react and handle other essential tasks as assigned now or in the future.
• Tasks may vary slightly based on products produced at division.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience: 0-3 years.
• Computer Skills: Familiar with Windows Operating System® and ability to utilize MRP system (Royal IV).
• Other Skills: Ability to read engineering blue prints and familiarity with manufacturing environment is strongly desired.
