This role involves daily communication with transporters and customers via phone and email, as well as close collaboration with warehouse teams both locally and internationally.In addition, the role is responsible for resolving in-transit order issues, coordinating closely with the CSR team to address customer inquiries, and ensuring orders are successfully delivered. The coordinator will also monitor and verify returns within the system, ensuring accurate tracking and timely resolution of any discrepancies.The ideal candidate has hands-on experience coordinating LTL shipments, preparing skids for major retailers such as Costco, and ensuring all documentation and processes are aligned for smooth execution across the supply chain.Important note: This position is a full-time, in-office role. Must be available to work

Friday between 9:30am - 5:30pm EST.Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and quote shipments using various transportation platforms and through communication with an established network of carriers and transport providers.
  • Schedule delivery and pickup appointments as required, or provide clear instructions and contact details to transporters for delivery coordination.
  • Perform daily track and trace activities, proactively monitoring shipments to ensure on-time delivery and addressing delays in real time.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve transportation issues, including missing documentation, delivery delays, or communication challenges with receivers.
  • Ensure all operations follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and efficiency.
  • Prepare and share reports, and updates with Manager in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, providing timely updates and responses to customer inquiries and operational issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of transportation regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Utilize NetSuite, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Microsoft Excel for order management, tracking, reporting, and analysis.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and complete projects assigned by management.

Required ...

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain coordination, preferably with LTL shipments and major retailers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills (reporting, tracking, data analysis).
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite (Oracle) and WMS systems preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to build and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated time management skills; must meet attendance requirements.
