Description

As a Document Control Agent, you will collaborate with various departments to ensure the control of documentation generated as part of the ongoing project, in compliance with established policies and procedures.

Specifically, You Will

  • Receive and sort all contractual and deliverable documents (plans, drawings, memos, reference catalogs, specifications, estimates, and others);
  • Briefly analyze the documents to assign a coding for systematic filing and record the metadata for each document;
  • Facilitate communication between the document control department, suppliers, and clients to ensure control of all technical and non-technical documents;
  • Make changes to document copies when modifications occur and transfer the revised copies to the concerned parties;
  • Control the use of documents by applying security procedures and policies regarding consultation, printing, archiving, etc.;
  • Ensure that all documents are available at the latest revision level;
  • Participate in updating the department's work procedures and instructions;
  • Ensure compliance with document control policies and procedures and raise any issues encountered;
  • Support teams with the document classification system, the software used, and in applying processes;
  • Perform any other related tasks assigned by your immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

  • Hold a college diploma in documentation techniques;
  • Have two years of experience in a similar position;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong computer skills;
  • Intermediate English proficiency (written and spoken). English proficiency is required for this position as the incumbent will interact with our anglophone clients and handle English documentation;
  • Experience in the construction or industrial sector is considered an asset;
  • Successfully complete the investigation and obtain the required security clearance under the Federal Contract Security Program.
