We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Windows Administrator to join our systems administration team. The selected candidate will play a key role in managing, maintaining, securing, and optimizing our Windows Server environment.

This role requires solid technical expertise, a proactive problem-solving approach, and the ability to collaborate with various IT teams to ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement of our infrastructure.

Job Functions and Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities

Windows Systems Administration

Install, configure, administer, and maintain Windows Server environments.

Ensure system availability, performance, and reliability through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.

Administer Active Directory, including domain controllers, user accounts, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and security settings.

Manage patches, updates, and security measures to reduce vulnerabilities.

Maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions to minimize service disruptions.

Administer virtualization environments such as VMware, Hyper-V, SimpliVity, or Citrix.

Provide support for cloud services, including Azure Active Directory and Microsoft 365.

Participate in system migrations and operating system upgrades (e.g., Windows Server 2016 to 2022).

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement

Collaborate with local and international IT teams (networking, security, databases, and applications) to support daily operations and infrastructure projects.

Document procedures, operational standards, and best practices.

Identify improvement opportunities and recommend solutions to enhance infrastructure efficiency, security, and capacity.

Participate in the planning of hardware and software needs.

Adhere to internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications to Succeed in This Role

Education and Experience

University degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (bachelor's or master's degree, or equivalent experience).

Minimum of 10 years of relevant systems administration experience.

Minimum of 7 years of Windows Server administration experience in complex environments.

Technical Skills

Expertise in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy Management.

Solid understanding of network protocols: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP.

In-depth experience in cybersecurity: patch management, access control, and vulnerability remediation.

Experience with virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper-V, SimpliVity, Citrix).

Experience with messaging platforms (Microsoft 365, Exchange).

Ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues involving multiple applications and systems.

Professional Skills

Experience in a global and multicultural IT environment.

Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Ability to work autonomously while effectively collaborating with multiple teams.

Experience in the banking sector, preferably investment banking, is an asset.
