Four-day work schedule including one weekend day (Sunday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Saturday)

The Workforce Planning Coordinator plays a key role in optimizing workforce capacity and supporting operational efficiency. By analyzing workload volumes, staffing requirements, skills, absenteeism rates, and other operational factors, the coordinator ensures that staffing levels are aligned with business needs and enable teams to meet their operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan schedules for the various departments within the distribution centre.
  • Work closely with operations supervisors and managers across the different departments and ensure excellent communication with them.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees wishing to report an absence or submit a leave or vacation request.
  • Monitor attendance in collaboration with the Human Resources and Operations teams.
  • Provide support to operational teams regarding staffing and hiring needs.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility and organization, with a methodical and analytical approach.
  • Have a strong ability to adapt and be open to change.
  • Handle requests with empathy and courtesy while providing practical and timely solutions.
  • Have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience and the ability to quickly learn and navigate technological tools.
  • Be proficient with software such as Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Outlook.
