SUPERVISOR – INTEGRATION DEPARTMENT

Under the authority of the production director, the Integration Department Supervisor is responsible for the proper functioning of energy storage unit integration activities.
He acts as an on-site technical leader, overseeing a multidisciplinary team and ensuring the performance of operations, both mechanically and electrically, with a strong expertise in industrial electricity.
He ensures a safe working environment, optimizes productivity, maintains product quality, and meets delivery deadlines.
Main Responsibilities
- Organize, plan, and coordinate team work according to production schedules
- Supervise integration activities:
- Mechanical assembly
- Electrical integration of units
- Lead a multidisciplinary team (electricians, electro-mechanics, assemblers)
- Act as a technical reference, particularly in industrial electricity
- Support the team in solving technical issues (electrical and mechanical diagnostics)
- Monitor production and coordinate with the planner
- Actively participate in continuous process improvement
- Track and improve performance indicators (KPIs)
- Ensure effective communication between shifts
- Meet delivery deadlines and operational objectives
- Maintain a healthy, motivating, and respectful work environment
- Ensure compliance with SST standards, particularly in electrical environments
- Perform any other tasks as requested by your immediate supervisor
- Monitor employee training and ensure daily supervision to develop their skills and maintain high operational performance levels.
- Desired Profile
Education and Experience
- DEP in electromechanical, industrial mechanics, or related field (preferred)
- 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum 7 years of experience in team management in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in supervising multidisciplinary teams
- Experience in unionized environments (asset)
Technical Skills
- Excellent knowledge of industrial electricity (ESSENTIAL)
- Strong knowledge of industrial mechanics
- Experience in integrating complex mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
- Knowledge of sheet metal (asset)
- Class C License (electrician) — a major asset
- Knowledge of SST standards, particularly in electrical environments
- Proficiency in computer tools (Office Suite, ERP)
