Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the *Human Resources and Occupational Health and Safety (HR-SST) Clerk* is responsible for supporting the HR and SST team in hiring and training the workforce. They perform various administrative tasks related to recruitment, training follow-up, and document management. They also contribute to process compliance and the smooth operation of the department.
**In the course of their work, the *HR-SST Clerk* must:**
- Coordinate the administrative hiring process, from sending documentation to creating files in the company's management system;
- Organize and coordinate internal and external training activities for field and office workers from various online training platforms;
- Provide necessary support to employees taking online training;
- Plan and organize in-person training activities according to the needs of the sites, coordinating trainers and necessary resources for their conduct;
- Ensure administrative follow-up of certain equipment and supplies for employees;
- Make job history requests;
- Enter data, compile statistics, and prepare documents and reports in SST;
- Perform any other tasks related to the position.
What you must have
- Hold a high school or college diploma, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience;
- Have at least one year of experience in an administrative or support position in human resources;
- Have experience in human resources, training, occupational health and safety, or in the industrial and construction sector (an asset);
- Have basic knowledge of different construction trades and equipment (an asset);
- Demonstrate a strong sense of confidentiality and rigor in handling data and files;
- Have a good sense of organization and be able to manage multiple files simultaneously while respecting deadlines;
- Demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and resourcefulness;
- Show a good capacity for learning and adaptation in an evolving environment;
- Have good customer service and communication skills, both oral and written;
- Have good proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel) and be comfortable with various computer systems and online training platforms;
- Master the French language, both oral and written;
- Have a concern for occupational health and safety and teamwork.
