Senior Business Systems Analyst EDI/B2B

Work Mode: Hybrid, 3 days/week on-site

Summary of the Position

CGI is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support critical EDI/B2B integration and logistics platforms for a major international organization. The role combines business and functional analysis, application support, EDI/B2B integration, incident management, and stakeholder coordination.

The selected candidate will work closely with business and IT teams, developers, architects, vendors, warehouses, clients, and external business partners. An initial priority will be to ensure knowledge transfer and contribute to the establishment of a sustainable operational support model.

Functions and Responsibilities

Provide functional and technical support for EDI/B2B integration and logistics applications.

Analyze and resolve missing, rejected, delayed, or incorrect EDI transactions.

Analyze issues related to data, mappings, interfaces, transmissions, and business processes.

Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.

Coordinate solution design and problem resolution with business, development, architecture, vendor, and external partner teams.

Support testing, business validation, deployment, and post-production follow-up activities.

Participate in the integration of new clients, warehouses, and business partners.

Coordinate production incidents and ensure their resolution.

Maintain support procedures, troubleshooting guides, escalation processes, and operational documentation.

Contribute to the establishment and improvement of a sustainable BAU (Business as Usual) application support model.

As needed, provide functional support for other commercial and logistics platforms.

Required Experience

Significant experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Functional Analyst, Integration Analyst, or Application Support Manager.

Strong experience with EDI and/or B2B integrations.

Experience in supporting critical applications in a production environment.

Good knowledge of logistics, supply chain, warehousing, shipping, or order management processes.

Experience in analyzing integration, data, mapping, and interface issues.

Experience in coordinating incidents involving business and IT teams, vendors, and external partners.

Strong skills in requirements analysis, documentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management.

Excellent English communication skills.

Desired Experience

Experience with some of the following will be considered an asset

• OpenText Trading Grid / OpenText Business Network or other B2B/VAN platform
• SAP, particularly Order to Cash, logistics, shipping, or warehousing processes
• EDI mapping and transactions such as 856/ASN, 940, 945, or 861
• FTP/SFTP, XML, CSV, API, and middleware solutions
• Integration of new clients, warehouses, or business partners
• Third-party logistics providers (3PL), carriers, or warehouses
• Azure DevOps
• Anaplan, FourKites, Power BI, or Microsoft Dynamics
• Managed services, incident management, and root cause analysis
• Industrial, manufacturing, mining, or complex supply chain environments

Documentation rigor – produces clear, structured, and reusable documentation.

Autonomy and judgment – capable of acting autonomously and escalating situations as needed.

Qualities Required to Succeed in This Role

We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst with significant experience in EDI/B2B integration, combined with production support experience and a good understanding of logistics and supply chain processes.

Specific expertise in platforms such as OpenText, Anaplan, FourKites, or Power BI is an asset but not mandatory.

The ability to understand business issues, analyze and resolve integration problems, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and manage operational support activities will be decisive.
