Technical Service and Dispatch Coordinator
Retail & hospitalityDescription
The bridge between our clients and our field technicians
Are you organized, enjoy customer contact, and comfortable with computers? At Ponts Élévateurs RGD, you become the front door of our technical service. A stable position, within a team that is equally stable, with a weekday schedule from Monday to Friday.
A technical advisor role, applied to bridge lifts
If you have worked as a technical advisor, service counselor, dispatcher, or service coordinator, you are already familiar with the terrain: you take the call, qualify the need, open the service call, and send the right technician with the right parts. What changes is the terrain and the pace. We maintain the bridge lifts of the automotive dealerships in Quebec, your interlocutors are service managers rather than the general public, and your days end at 4:30 PM.
The company
Ponts Élévateurs RGD is a family-owned business in operation for over 30 years. We install, maintain, and repair bridge lifts for automotive dealerships and mechanical workshops in Quebec. Our offices in Saint-Hubert and Quebec allow us to quickly respond to our clients' needs.
What you should know about us: our employees stay. We are a small team, we talk to each other for real, and work-life balance is not a line in a policy. This is how we have been functioning for 30 years.
Your daily routine
- Receive service calls from our clients, service managers of dealerships, and understand the need before sending a technician.
- Open service calls and create tasks for our field technicians.
- Build and adjust the technicians' schedule, including when an emergency disrupts the day.
- Schedule appointments and keep clients informed of deadlines.
- Order parts from suppliers and follow up on deliveries.
- Manage inventories and ensure we do not run out of anything at the wrong time.
- Prepare invoicing documents and keep client files up to date.
The profile we are looking for
- You have experience in customer service, dispatching, service coordination, or technical administrative support.
- You are comfortable with computers and have an intermediate level in Excel. We also work with Acomba and Progression Live: if you do not know them, we will train you.
- Your written French is polished: your emails represent the company to service managers.
- You stay calm when three calls come in at the same time.
- You have a keen eye for detail: the right part number, the right quantity, the first time.
- A background in automotive dealership technical advising, or team coordination, is a plus, but not mandatory.
- English is a plus, not a requirement.
What we offer
- A salary starting at $26 per hour, depending on your experience.
- A full-time permanent position of 40 hours per week,
- Monday to
