Your Role

The supervisor of the estimation and coordination department ensures the management and leadership of their team to guarantee the realization of precise, optimized, and cost-effective designs and estimates. The person in this position actively contributes to the department's performance by implementing efficient processes, tracking performance indicators, and driving continuous improvement. They also foster harmonious collaboration between the estimation and coordination department and other teams within the company. Additionally, the supervisor ensures that their team has the necessary tools, knowledge, and guidance.

Concretely, you will have to

  • Plan and assign estimation and coordination mandates according to the team's technical expertise (HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, etc.) and project priorities;
  • Supervise the technical quality of estimates: sizing, equipment selection, compliance with standards and bids, optimization of solutions and costs;
  • Support the team in resolving complex technical issues and act as a reference in building mechanics;

What We Are Looking For

  • Education in building mechanics, mechanical engineering, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in estimation and/or project coordination in building mechanics, particularly in HVAC, plumbing, or refrigeration;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in team supervision;
  • Solid technical understanding of building mechanics systems;
  • Motivational leadership and the ability to grow team members;
  • Good judgment, autonomy, and the ability to make decisions;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain an overview in a dynamic environment;
  • Agility in the face of change and a strong interest in continuous improvement;
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
