Front Desk Receptionist – Customer Experience | High-End Hair Salon

J’AIME! Coiffure, a salon established since 2009 in the heart of Plateau-Mount Royal, is looking for a warm, professional, and organized person to handle the reception and provide an exceptional experience to our clientele.

The reception is at the heart of the J’AIME! experience. We are looking for a person who enjoys taking care of people, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring that each visit runs smoothly, from the first call to the client's departure.

Main Responsibilities

• Welcome clients warmly upon their arrival
• Answer calls, messages, and inquiries
• Manage appointment scheduling, confirmation, and changes
• Advise clients on the right service and team member
• Optimize stylists' schedules and fill in for availability
• Process payments and manage transactions at the reception
• Provide attentive, personalized, and high-end customer service
• Prepare the salon for opening and ensure everything is ready to welcome the clientele
• Perform closing tasks and verify that the salon is well-organized for the next day
• Maintain the reception, waiting area, and common areas clean and welcoming
• Collaborate with stylists and assistants to ensure smooth daily operations
• Participate in client follow-up, future bookings, and product recommendations when necessary

• Warm, positive, and professional personality
• Very good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple requests at once
• Punctuality, reliability, and autonomy
• Ease of communication with different types of clientele
• Good command of French and English
• Proficiency with computers, reservation systems, and payments
• Attention to detail and neat presentation
• Ability to remain calm and efficient in a dynamic environment

Experience in reception, high-end hospitality, beauty, or the hair industry is an asset.
