Technician for Public Infrastructure

• Working hours: 35 hours per week

The challenges we propose to you

• Carry out activities related to the management of road corridors (signage, road permission, access to the road network);
• Prepare, monitor, and pay various contracts related to the operation of the road network, notably in collaboration with the structures;
• Support other units in the fulfillment of their mandates (pre-marking, determination of preparation work, balance sheet, action plan follow-up, leases of abandoned railway rights-of-way, various other ad hoc requests);
• Inspect culverts and enter information into the culvert management system;
• Assess, plan, and prepare various maintenance activities for the road network;
• Provide technical support to team leaders, technicians, and workers regarding the execution of work carried out in-house by the various teams;
• Perform various technical surveys on-site;
• Plan and organize annual work meetings, which take place in spring and autumn, with various participants;
• Actively participate in emergency action plans (road closures during storms, bridge de-icing, major events, etc.);
• Perform various activities and follow-ups related to snow removal operations.

• Annual Salary:
• 51,429 $ to 72,194 $ according to experience*
• This is the salary scale from the collective agreement 2023-2028 and currently in effect.
